Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, EDA is conducting an environmental assessment (EA) of the proposed project. The project will expand the City'a fiber backbone serving munici- pal facilities and emergency services and will serve the airport and industrial businesses in the north as well as medical, education, and major employers. The project will be located at two separate segments including around the Waterloo regional Airport and to the East along Elk Run Road and Martin Luther King Jr Drive. Project information is available for review at the City of Waterloo, 715 Mulberry St, Waterloo, IA 50703 and (319) 291-4312.
