Moved by Welper, seconded by Clark that a garbage refund in the amount of $31.50 for 615
West 9th Street be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Greenwood. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Clark that a garbage refund in the amount of $63.00 for 134
Mohawk Street be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Greenwood. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Clark that a travel request for Assistant Superintendent of Waste
Management Services to pick up leaf loader in Minerva, Ohio on November 20-21, 2005, with
costs not to exceed $435.00, be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Greenwood. Motion carried.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the request of the Superintendent of Traffic
Operations for pre-authorization to expend $3,500.00, plus estimated shipping costs of$40.00, to
purchase ten yellow LEDs and 35 Programmable Yellow LEDs be approved. Ayes: Two.

Operations for pre-authorization to expend $15,750.00, plus estimated shipping costs of$75.00,
to purchase three video detection cameras for the intersection of Kimball Avenue and Rachael
Street be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Greenwood. Motion carried.

Operations for pre-authorization to expend $3,050.00, plus estimated shipping costs of$120.00,
for battery back-up systems for Ridgeway and Highway 63 and Kimball, Campbell, Williston
and West 4th Street be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Greenwood. Motion carried.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the request of Mayor Hurley for pre-authorization to
expend $1,839.00 for cost of creation of website for Katrina Relief efforts in conjunction with
the Black Hawk County Disaster Relief Team be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Greenwood.

Moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the request of the City Clerk for pre-authorization to
expend $4,801.00 for renewal of city's membership with the National League of Cities be
approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Greenwood. Motion carried.

Management Services for pre-authorization to expend $1,988.89, plus estimated shipping costs
of $12.00, to replace VFD at Quincy Lift Station be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent:

Management Services for pre-authorization to expend $4,324.12 for costs to purchase
