Moved by Welper, seconded by Clark that the Minutes of November 1, 2004, as proposed, be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
The request of the Fire Chief for authorization to purchase parts to repair Medic 334 at a cost not
to exceed $2,500.00 was reviewed. The parts will be used to repair the head gasket and minor
engine overhaul. Moved by Welper, seconded by Clark that said request be approved. Ayes:
Three. Motion carried.
The request of the Human Resources Manager for authorization to dispose of laser printer at the
city auction was reviewed. The laser printer is ten to fifteen years old and was replaced a couple
of years ago. Moved by Welper, seconded by Clark that said request be approved. Ayes: Three.
Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Clark that the request of the Fire Chief for authorization to sell
1985 Chevrolet 4x4 pickup with snowplow at the city auction be approved. Ayes: Three.
Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Clark that a garbage refund in the amount of$36.00 for 1804
West 11th Street be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Clark that a travel request for two Police Officers to attend
Armorer School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on December 14-16, 2004, with costs not to exceed
$1,152.88,be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Clark that a travel request for Curator to pick up artwork in
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on November 22-24, 2004, with costs not to exceed $700.00, be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Clark that a travel request for Department Heads, Mayor and
Council to attend Goal Setting Session in Waterloo, Iowa on November 16 and 17, 2004, with
costs not to exceed$13.85 each,be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the request of the City Clerk for pre-authorization to
expend $1,276.00 for renewal of Media 100 Support Services for the Public Access Studio be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the request of the Airport Director for pre-
authorization to expend $1,507.00 to purchase interior paint for Airport hangar leased to
Livingston Aviation be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the request of the Airport Director for pre-
authorization to expend $2,798.71 for installation of six ceiling fans in McCandles Aviation
hangar be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the request of the Airport Director for pre-
authorization to expend $12,795.14 for purchase of replacement windows for the Airport owned
Livingston Aviation Office be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the request of the Leisure Services Director for pre-
authorization to expend $1,836.00 for repair to ammonia ice system at Young Arena be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
