Moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the Agenda, as amended to delete Item 1 under New
Business, be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the Minutes of January 12, 2004, as proposed, be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Clark that the travel request for City Engineer and Associate
Engineer to attend Asphalt Paving Conference in Ames, Iowa on February 3, 2004, with costs
not to exceed $270.00, be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the request of the Manager of Information Services
for pre-authorization to expend $6,125.00 to purchase replacement server and operating system
software be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the request of the Police Chief for pre-authorization to
expend $3,500.00 to purchase in-car video system be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the request of the Police Chief for pre-authorization to
expend $24,725.75 to pay FY04 second half operating expenses for CJIS be approved. Ayes:
Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the request of the Leisure Services Director for pre-
authorization to expend $1,530.00 to purchase 60 rebar frames for dugouts at Dane baseball
complex be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Clark that the request of the Police Chief for authorization to
increase Line Item 3361 (St. Grants) and Line Item 2127 (Photo Equip) in the amount of
$3,500.00, be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Greenwood that Bills Payment, as contained in Scheduled
AP640, dated January 20, 2003, pp. 1-85, in the amount of$1,020,397.07, be received, placed on
file and approved and forwarded to the full council for approval. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
With no further business before the committee, it was moved by Welper, seconded by Clark that
the meeting be adjourned at 3:55 p.m. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
