Moved by Hurley, seconded by Getty that the request of the Fire Chief for authorization to repair Platform 311 at a cost of$99,850.00 be approved. With the approval of the mover and seconder this item was moved to the end of the agenda. Moved by Getty, seconded by Hurley that the travel request for Mayor to attend Iowa League of Cities 105th Annual Conference and Exhibit in Davenport, Iowa on September 24-26, 2003, with costs not to exceed$320.00,be approved. Moved by Getty, seconded by Hurley that a travel request for City Attorney to attend International Municipal Lawyers Association Annual Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 11-15, 2003, with costs not to exceed $1,305.00, be approved.
