The following bids received for three 2003 mid-size vehicles were reviewed: Bidder Bid Amount Community Auto Plaza $19,226.00 each Rydell Chevrolet $14,898.00 each Dick Witham Ford $15,654.00 each It was the recommendation of the Superintendent of Central Garage that the low bid from Rydell Chevrolet in the amount of$14,898.00 each vehicle be accepted. Moved by Getty, seconded by Hurley that the request of the Leisure Services Director for authorization of payment of $10,000.00 to Fairview Cemetery be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Jordan. Moved by Getty, seconded by Hurley that the request of the Superintendent of Waste Management Services for authorization to purchase fabricated fiberglass wet well liner for the Anaerobic Lagoon Effluent wet well structure in conjunction with the Interceptor Corrosion Control Project at a cost not to exceed $8,800.00 be approved. Moved by Getty, seconded by Hurley that a travel request for Education Director and Education Coordinator to attend Art Educators of Iowa Annual Conference in Decorah, Iowa on October 4- 6, 2002, with costs not to exceed $212.00, be approved. Moved by Getty, seconded by Hurley that an amendment to travel request for Education Director and Volunteer Coordinator to attend Connecting Points: Training for Museum Docents in Brookings, South Dakota on September 30-October 2, 2002 at an additional cost of$40.00 be approved.
