RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO CEDAR
VALLEY RECYCLING & TRANSFER COMPANY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR RECYCLING SERVICES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Cedar Valley Recycling & Transfer Company of
Waterloo, Iowa, for Recycling Services for the period from May 1,
2010 to April 30, 2015, described in the request for proposal and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project, after public hearing on published notice required by
law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the recycling services,
said contract not to be binding on the City until approved by
this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of April, 2010.
