RESOLUTION NO. 2022-455
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC., SETTING DATE
OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 4, 2022 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS AUGUST 15, 2022, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE FY 2023 WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
FINAL CLARIFIER NO. 3 REHABILITATION PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. 1067, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the FY 2023 Wastewater Treatment Plant Final Clarifier No. 3 Rehabilitation
Project, Contract No. 1067, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2023 Wastewater Treatment
Plant Final Clarifier No. 3 Rehabilitation Project, Contract No. 1067, be scheduled for August 4,
2022 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on thel5th day of August 2022, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2023 Wastewater Treatment Plant Final
Clarifier No. 3 Rehabilitation Project, Contract No. 1067.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
