RESOLUTION NO. 2022-456
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS ETC., SETTING DATE
OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 11, 2022, AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS AUGUST 15, 2022, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE WATERLOO FIRE RESCUE TURNOUT GEAR
REPLACEMENT PROJECT, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the Waterloo Fire Rescue Turnout Gear Replacement Project, are hereby
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the Waterloo Fire Rescue Turnout
Gear Replacement Project, be scheduled for August 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo,
Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on thel5th day of August 2022, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the Waterloo Fire Rescue Turnout Gear Replacement
Proj ect.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
