Motion carried.
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Getty that the Minutes of June 18, 2001, as proposed, be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Jordan that a garbage refund in the amount of $45.00 for 505
Sheridan Road be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Getty that the travel request for Fire Paramedic to attend Pediatric
Advanced Life Support School on June 27, 2001 in Waterloo, Iowa at a cost of $25.00 be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Getty that the travel request for Fire Paramedic to attend Pediatric
Advanced Life Support School on June 28-29, 2001 in Waterloo, Iowa at a cost of $80.00 be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.

Illinois at a cost of$1,730.00 be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Jordan that the travel request for Police Sergeant to attend course
on Street Crimes and Surveillance Techniques on July 15-18, 2001 in Des Moines, Iowa at a cost
of$621.00 be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Jordan that the travel request for Police Investigator to attend
course on Protecting Children Online in Appleton, Wisconsin on July 15-20, 2001 at a cost of
$175.00 be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Jordan that the travel request for Police Officer to attend Precision
Driving Instructor Certification class in Johnston, Iowa on July 29 - August 3, 2001 at a cost of
$428.45 be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Jordan that the travel request for Operator to attend Recertification
& Upgrade in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on May 3, 2001 at a cost of $100.00 be approved. Ayes:
Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Jordan that the travel request for three Lab Technicians to attend
IWPCA Region 1 Lab Conference in Waterloo, Iowa on May 16, 2001 at a cost of $24.00 be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Mo,yed by Jordan, seconded by Getty that Bills Payment, as contained in Schedule AP640, pp. 1-
Lift 67 dated June 25, 2001, in the amount of $2,448,922.89, be received, placed on file and
approved and forwarded to the full council for approval. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
