Moved by Jordan, seconded by Gronen that the Agenda, as amended to add a pre-authorization request from Leisure Services, be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Jordan, seconded by Gronen that the Minutes of December 4, 2000, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. The following bids received for the Anaerobic Digest Asbestos Abatement for Water Pollution Control Facilities were reviewed: Ridder Rid Amount Iowa Thermal Insulation, Inc. $5,520.00 Affordable Asbestos Removal, Inc. $5,769.00 Advanced Technologies Corporation $5,970.00 It was the recommendation of the Assistant Superintendent of Water Pollution/Flood Control that the low bid of Iowa Thermal Insulation, Inc. in the amount of$5,520.00 be accepted. Moved by Gronen, seconded by Jordan that said recommendation be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Gronen, seconded by Jordan that the request of the Leisure Services Director for pre- authorization to expend $800.00 to purchase a box for #208 1986 Ford pick-up truck be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Gronen, seconded by Jordan that the request of the Leisure Services Director for pre- authorization to expend $711.00 to update golf brochures be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Jordan, seconded by Gronen that the request of the Police Chief for pre-authorization to expend $2,080.00, plus shipping, to purchase Iowa Uniform Citation and Complaint forms be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Gronen, seconded by Jordan that the request of the City Clerk for pre-authorization to expend $3,724.00 for renewal of the employees dishonesty surety bond be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Jordan, seconded by Gronen that the request of the Executive Director of Human Rights Commission for pre-authorization to expend $2,052.00 for legal services be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Jordan, seconded by Gronen that the request of the Executive Director of Human Rights Commission for pre-authorization to expend $1,000.00 for bulk mailing account be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Gronen, seconded by Jordan that the request of the Executive Director of Human Rights Commission to decrease Line Item 1315 (Education & Training) in the amount of $2,087.00 and Line Item 1345 (Travel-Business) in the amount of$265.00; increase Line Item 1130 (Benefit Reimbursement) in the amount of$87.00, Line Item 1391 (Dues & Membership) in the amount of$265.00 and Line Item 1343 (Postage) in the amount of$2,000.00 be approved.
