Members present: Chairperson Murphy, Krizek, Jordan.
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Krizek that the Agenda, as amended to add Item No. 1 under
Budget Line Items to be Amended, be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Krizek that the Minutes of September 13, 1999, as proposed, be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Krizek, seconded by Jordan that the request of the Assistant Fire Chief for pre-
authorization to expend $1,715.00 to purchase fire extinguisher powder and CO2 cartridges be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Krizek, seconded by Jordan that the request of the Superintendent of Water
Pollution/Flood Control for pre-authorization to expend $1,365.00 to purchase a replacement
Hydroranger be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Krizek, seconded by Jordan that the request of the Leisure Services Director for pre-
authorization to expend $6,825.00 for installation of play equipment be approved. Ayes: Three.
Motion carried.
Moved by Krizek, seconded by Jordan that the request of the Community Development Program
Manager for pre-authorization to expend $4,360.00 to purchase 20 4-drawer legal file cabinets be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Krizek that the request of the Superintendent of Water
Pollution/Flood Control to transfer $22,500.00 from Line Item 2167 (WPCP) to Line Item 1535
(Hardware) and transfer $1,660.00 from Line Item 1319 (Other Professional) to Line Item 1537
(Horticulture) be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Krizek that Bills Payment, as contained in Schedule AP640, dated
September 20, 1999, pp. 1-118, in the amount of$1,189,140.10, be received, placed on file and
approved, and forwarded to the full council for approval, with Councilperson Krizek abstaining
on 8007, 8013, 8015 and 5011. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
With no further business before the committee, it was moved by Jordan, seconded by Krizek that
the meeting be adjourned at 6:41 p.m. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
