Members Present: Chairperson Jordan, Krizek. Absent:: Mollenhoff.
Moved by Krizek seconded by Jordan that the Agenda, as proposed, and
the Minutes of July 6, 1998 be approved. Ayes: Two. Motion Carried.
The request of the Central Garage Superintendent to purchase four flood
control pumps was reviewed.
The following bids were reviewed:
Bidder Bid Amount
Starr Equipment Company $ 1,750.45
Gierke-Robinson Company $ 1,805.00
Moved by Krizek and Seconded by Jordan that the City purchase two
flood control pumps each from Starr and Gierke in the amount of
$7,110.90. Ayes: Two. Motion carried.
The request of the Administrative Director for the authorization to
purchase two chilled water coils for the air handler #3 at the Library.
Jordan asked if the Library had budgeted for the purchase of the coils?
Administrative Assistant said the Library will be paying for the coils and
Building Maintenance will do the installation.
Moved by Krizek and Seconded by Jordan that the City purchase two
chilled water coils for the air handler #3 at the Library in the amount of
$5,612.00 Ayes: Two. Motion carried.
Moved by Krizek and Seconded by Jordan that Bills Payment, as
contained in Schedule AP640, dated July 13, 1998, pp. 1- 82 in the
amount of $1,354,801.14 be approved. Ayes: Two. Motion carried.
With no further business before the committee, it was moved by Krizek,
seconded by Jordan that the meeting be adjourned at 5:23 p.m. Ayes:
Two. Motion carried.
