Members present : Chairperson Angel, Wright, Buck.
Moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that the Agenda, as proposed, be
approved. Ayes : Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that the recommendation of the
Police Chief to continue cellular telephone service with United
States Cellular, be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
Bids were reviewed for office equipment for use at the Hazardous
Material Regional Training Center. Equipment includes office
furnishings including desks, bookcases, file cabinets, and other
miscellaneous supplies and equipment . It was the recommendation of
the Acting Fire Chief to accept the low bid for each individual
item for a total cost of $7, 103 . 08 . Funds will be used from the
federal grant monies for the Hazardous Material Training Center.
Moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that said recommendation be
approved. Ayes : Two. Abstain: Buck. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for custodial services at Central
Garage and Public Works Administrative Offices :

It was the recommendation of the Public Works Director that the low
bid of Bob' s Cleaning Service in the amount of $200 per month be
approved. Moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that said
recommendation be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
Moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that a garbage refund in the
amount of $16 . 00 for 1419 Bluff Street and for $90 . 00 for 823
Logan Avenue be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
Moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that the Police Chief be given
authorization to purchase 12 additional steel targets for the
police firing range at a cost of $68 . 00 each from Gibson Welding be
approved. This equipment will be used at the Police Training
Center. Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
Moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that bills payment be approved
as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-53 in the amount of
$942 , 833 . 32, dated December 20, 1993 . Ayes : Three. Motion
carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was
adjourned at 6 : 36 p.m. Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
