Members present: Chairperson Angel, Wright and Buck.
It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that the Agenda, as
proposed, be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
The request of the Police Chief for authorization to purchase an
optional enhancement to the laser radar detection unit approved by
the Finance Committee on October 11, 1993 was reviewed. The
original unit was purchased at a cost of $4, 019 . The additional
enhancement will bring the total cost to $4 , 369. It was moved by
Buck, seconded by Wright that the purchase of said additional
enhancement be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
The request of the Police Chief for authorization to purchase items
for the Waterloo Police Department Tactical Unit, Crime Lab and
Tri-County Drug Task Force was reviewed:

It was the recommendation of the Police Chief that said items be
purchased. It was moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that said
purchase be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that a garbage refund in
the amount of $63 for 1004 Washington Street be approved. Ayes:
Three. Motion carried.
It was moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that the bills payment be
approved as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1 - 52 in the amount of
$1,554,946. 81, dated December 6 , 1993 . Ayes: Two. Abstain:
Buck. Motion carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was
adjourned at 6 : 50 p.m.
