Members Absent: Buck.
It was moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that the Agenda, as
proposed, be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Buck. Motion
carried.
Discussion was heard on request of the Fire Chief to purchase the
Bureau of National Affairs Occupational Safety and Health Reporter
for the Hazardous Material Regional Training Center. This
publication reviews regulatory changes in occupational health,
environmental and other government rules and regulations. The cost
of this publication is $750 for twelve months. Funds to pay for
this publication will come from revenue generated by the Training
Center.
It was moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that authorization be
given to the Fire Chief to purchase said publication. Ayes: Two.
Absent: Buck. Motion carried.
It was moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that the bills payment be
approved as contained in Schedule A918 , pp. 1 - 57 in the amount of
$983 ,597 . 54, dated August 2, 1993 . Ayes: Two. Absent: Buck.
Motion carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was
adjourned at 6 : 33 p.m.
