Members present: Chairperson Angel, Wright and Buck.
It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that the Agenda, as
proposed be approved. Ayes: Angel, Wright and Buck. Motion
carried.
Bids were reviewed for auctioneer services from Diversified
Auctions and Conrad Doan. Diversified Auctions ' bid was to retain
20o commission on total gross sales plus $0 . 25 per item. Mr.
Doan' s bid was to retain 18% commission on total gross sales. It
was the recommendation of the Police Department that the bid of
Conrad Doan be approved. It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright
that said recommendation be approved. Ayes: Angel, Wright and
Buck. Motion carried.
The request of the Police Department for authorization to employ
Young Plumbing & Heating to replace the pipe between the septic
tank in the leach field at the Police Training Center on Elk Run
Road at a cost of $800 was reviewed. It is hoped that this work
will alleviate the ground water problems in the area. The Building
Maintenance Supervisor concurs in this recommendation. It was
moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that said request be approved.
Ayes: Angel, Wright and Buck. Motion carried.
The request of Waterloo Fire Rescue for authorization to purchase
a battery back up system for computer service at a cost of $400
from Tripp-lite Company was reviewed. It was moved by Wright,
seconded by Buck that authorization for said up grade be approved.
Ayes: Angel, Wright and Buck. Motion carried.
It was moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that the bills payment be
approved as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1 - 61 in the amount of
$2,071 , 855 . 52 , dated June 28 , 1993 . Ayes: Angel, Wright.
Abstain: Buck. Motion carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was
adjourned at 6 : 15 p.m.
