Members present: Chairperson Angel and Wright.
Members absent: Buck.
Moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that the Agenda be approved, as
proposed. Motion carried.
The following bids for the Parks Department were reviewed:

Snowblower/Mowing Unit Waterloo Implement $18,163 . 00

Phelps Implement $18,521. 00
It was the recommendation of the Director of Parks and Forestry
that the low bid in the amount of $3,020 of Waterloo Implement for
the skid loader snowblower and the low bid of Waterloo Implement in
the amount of $18,163 for the snowblower/mowing unit be approved.
Moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that said recommendation be
approved. Motion carried.
The following bids for asbestos inspection contract C-92(I ) in
conjunction with the Sixth Street East project were reviewed:

Iowa Environmental Services $2,400. 00
It was the recommendation of the City Planner that the low bid of
Asbestos Inspection of Waterloo in the amount of $1,184 be
approved. Moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that said
recommendation be approved. Motion carried.
Moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that a garbage refund in the
amount of $94. 80 for 225 Highland be approved. Motion carried.
Moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that the bills payment be
approved as contained in Schedule A918, pp 1-66 in the amount of
$1,024,224. 22 , dated November 23 , 1992. Ayes: Angel, Wright.
Motion carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was
adjourned at 6 : 50 p.m.
