It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Motion carried. It was moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that a garbage refund in the amount of $94. 80 for 1026 Forest Avenue be approved. Motion carried. The request of Metropolitan Transit Authority to sign a loan guaranty with the National Bank of Waterloo was presented. This will allow MET to obtain an interim loan until receipt of federal funds. If MET defaults on its repayment to the bank, the city' s subsidy will automatically repay their obligation. Walt Stevenson, Manager of MET, noted this has been done in the past and is an acceptable method of financing for them. It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that authorization be given to sign said loan guaranty. Motion carried. It was moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that the bills payment be approved as contained in Schedule A918 , pp. 1 - 45 in the amount of $1 , 471 , 388 . 93 , dated October 5, 1992 . Motion carried.
