Members present: Chairperson Angel, Wright.
Members absent: Buck.
It was moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that the Agenda, as
proposed, be approved. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for unmarked police vehicles:
Dick Witham Crossroads Ford
1992 Ford Tempo $10, 476 . 10 each
John Deery Motors Inc.
1992 Oldsmobile Achieva $13 ,125 .00 each
Dan Deery Motors Inc.
1992 Dodge Spirit $10,972 . 00 each
It was the recommendation of the Police Chief that the low
compliant bid of Dick Witham Crossroads Ford for two 1992 Ford
Tempos totaling $20, 952. 20 be approved. Funds for this purchase
with be through the city' s lease purchase program and represents
the last purchase to be made from the lease purchase fund for the
police department. It was moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that
said recommendation to purchase said vehicles be approved. Motion
carried.
It was moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that the bills payment be
approved as contained in Schedule A918 , pp. 1 - 42 in the amount of
$249, 663 . 41, dated August 3, 1992 . Motion carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was
adjourned at 6 : 45 p.m.
