It was moved Buck, seconded by Wright that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Motion carried. The request of the Transportation Engineer for authorization to seek bids for computer hardware was reviewed. Bill Ratekin explained that this includes one printer for the Clerk' s Office and one printer for the Pavement Management Technician. The existing printer for the Administrative Secretary in the Clerk/Auditor' s Office is no longer working properly and the Pavement Management Technician does not have a printer to use. Additionally, authorization was requested to seek bids for two complete computer work stations and one computer with a monitor. The computers will be used for the Pavement Management System, permit writing, and the Building Official. Funds for the equipment will be from the Infrastructure Management Account. Payment for the Clerk' s printer will be made after July 1st. It was moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that authorization be given to seek bids for said equipment. Motion carried. The following bids were obtained for personal protective equipment for employees at the Fire Department to reduce their risk of exposure to blood-borne pathogens: Bio-Safety 100 - P2 Custom Kits @ $65/ case = $650 . 00 (These kits are packaged 10 per case and include a bio- hazard disposable bag) Emergency Medical Products 100 - Infection Control Kits @ $6 . 80/each = $680. 00 (These do not include a disposable bag) It was the recommendation of the Fire Chief that the low bid of Bio-Safety be approved. It was moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that said recommendation be approved. Motion carried. It was moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that the bills payment be approved as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1 - 54 in the amount of $1, 340,620 . 27 , dated May 4, 1992, and Schedule A918, pp. 1 - 62 in the amount of $1, 543 , 452. 26 , dated May 11, 1992.
