It was moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Motion carried. Discussion on the E-Mail/Scheduling Software was delayed until the end of the meeting. It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that garbage refunds in the amount of $94 . 80 for 1050 Sheffield Avenue, $189 . 60 for 1004 Decathlon Drive and $47 . 40 for 646 Sherman and 113 Joder Avenue be approved. Motion carried. John Meyer, Public Works Director, stated that with the rejection of all bids for the Anaerobic Lagoon project at the IBP facility, the council directed the re-design and re-bidding of said project. ( see CR 99106 for City Council action rejecting said bid) The 4 current scope of services contract with Brice, Petrides-Donohue did not contemplate this additional project cost. Approximate fee for this re-design and re-bidding is $21 , 000 - $24, 000. If necessary, the firm would bill the city for this amount depending on actual project costs . It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that authorization be given to increase the cost for engineering services with Brice, Petrides-Donohue for said project. Motion carried. It was moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that the bills payment be approved as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-55 in the amount of $274 , 902 . 74 , dated April 13 , 1992 . Motion carried. The following bids were reviewed for Electronic Mail and Calendar Scheduling Software: Bidder Amount NoteWork Corp. ( Govt. pricing E-Mail only) $2877 . 30 NoteWork Corp. (E-Mail & Scheduling) $5567 . 00 PowerCore, Inc. (E-Mail & Scheduling) $5567 . 00 AmeriData (E-Mail & Scheduling) $3958 . 00 Microsystems ( Scheduling only) $1791. 00 Advanced Computers (E-Mail & Scheduling) $2085 . 00 It was the recommendation of the Planning Department that the bid of AmeriData in the amount of $3958 be approved noting that the low bid of NoteWork Corp. does not meet the specifications. Bill Ratekin, Transportation Engineer, presented a demonstration on each of the software programs. As outlying departments are hardwired to the system, additional software purchases would be necessary; however, departments currently on network would be able to use said software programs. It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that authorization be given to purchase said software from AmeriData. Motion carried.
