It was moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that the Agenda, as
proposed, be approved. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for testing services to evaluate
backfill placed in excavations created by the removal of various
structures in conjunction with the Powers Manufacturing and Sixth
Street Extension Projects :

Bob Stevenson, City Planner, noted that these are basic prices and
that different types of tests will be necessary depending on the
structure to be evaluated. It was the recommendation of the City
Planner that the low bid of Terracon Consultants NE Inc. be
approved. It was moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that said
recommendation be approved. Motion carried. ( See Finance
Committee Minutes of March 23rd)
Discussion on the E-Mail/Scheduling Software was delayed until the
end of the meeting.
It was moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that a sewer refund in
the amount of $39 .75 for 514 Pine Street, and garbage refunds in
the amounts of $95 . 99 for 1016 Forest, $31 . 60 for 1100 Oleson Road,
$47 . 40 for 807 West Third Street, and $74 . 67 for 657 Riehl Street
all be approved. Motion carried.

Chief Koehrsen noted that the matter of bidding police cars has
arisen quickly in order to take advantage of cost reductions in
1992 models and the State bid price which will soon expire. It was
the recommendation of the Police Chief that eight 1992 Ford Crown
Victorias be purchased from Dick Witham Crossroads Ford in the
