It was moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Motion carried. The following bids were reviewed for radios and chargers for Waterloo Fire Rescue: Bidder Bid Amount Motorola Communications & Electronics Inc. $3 , 874 . 50 Iowa Radio Service Inc. $3 , 408. 96 Electronic Engineering Co. $3 , 594 . 00 Radio Communications Company No Bid It was the recommendation of the Waterloo Fire Department that the low bid of Iowa Radio Service, Inc. be approved. It was moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that said recommendation be approved. Motion carried. The following bids were reviewed for parking tickets for the Clerk/Auditor' s Office: Bidder Bid Amount Traf-O-Teria System $1, 675 for 25, 000 tickets $3 , 250 for 50 , 000 tickets Biller Press & Mfg. , Inc. $1, 475 for 25, 000 tickets $2,750 for 50, 000 tickets Weldon, Williams & Lick Inc No Bid The Toledo Ticket Co. No Bid Globe Ticket Co. No Bid It was the recommendation of the Clerk/Auditor ' s Office that the low bid of Biller Press & Mfg. , Inc. be approved. It was moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that said recommendation be approved. Motion carried. Discussion was heard on the extension of the police clothing contract for F.Y. 1993 to Palace Clothiers. Chief Koehrsen stated that in F.Y. 1991 , vendors were invited to submit bids for F.Y. 1992 and 1993 . Palace Clothiers was the only bid submitted for F.Y. 1992 but contained a clause that stated that F.Y. 1993 prices would reflect only the increase or decrease in the actual wholesale cost of the item. At that time, it was the recommendation of the Police Department that the F.Y. 1993 proposal not be accepted. The city has been advised by Palace that the bid quotations for F.Y. 1993 will remain the same as F.Y. 1992 if the contract is extended to F.Y. 1993 . It was the recommendation of the Chief of Police that said contract be extended through F.Y. 1993 to Palace Clothiers at the same rate as cost quotations for F.Y. 1992 . After discussion, it was moved by Buck, seconded by Angel that the clothing contract for F.Y. 1993 for the Police Department be advertised for bid. Motion carried. It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that a garbage refund in the amount of $23 .70 for 330 Oneida Street be approved. Motion carried.
