It was moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Motion carried. No Bid No Bid $190. 00 Video Equipment Pansonic Pansonic Bidder WJ-MX12 Y/C WJ-KB15 Farnsworth Electronics Inc. $2, 400 . 00 $250. 00 Pratt A.V. & Video Corp. $2, 418 . 00 $239. 00 Electronic Communication $2,441 . 50 $218 . 10 It was the recommendation of the Clerk/Auditor ' s Office that the bid of Electronic Communication for the microphone input module in the amount of $347. 25 and for the power supply in the amount of $42 and the bid of Pratt A.V. & Video Corp. for the microphone in the amount of $164 be approved. It was also the recommendation of the Clerk/Auditor ' s Office that the bid of Electronic Communication for the Pansonic WJ-MX12 Y/C in the amount of $2400 and the Pansonic WJ-KB15 in the amount of $216. 10 be approved. Money is available in the Cable budget for this expenditure. It was reported that this will allow the purchase of goose neck microphones for each of the councilpersons and also an audio visual mixer. It was moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that said recommendations be approved. Motion carried. The request of the Police Chief for authorization to allow Hawkeye Alarm Company to trade a pin-hole lens, Computar brand, Model SM935, 9mm, with a 3 . 5 F stop, for a Fidelity cap blasting machine was reviewed. The blasting machine was purchased by the City in 1978 and used by the Department ' s bomb squad but due to its size and weight is seldom used. The Chief noted that the camera equipment value is far greater than the blasting machine that they are giving to Hawkeye Alarm Company. It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that authorization be given to trade said blasting machine for photographic equipment. Motion carried. The request of Metroplitan Transit for authorization to extend MET' s present line of credit until May 1, 1992 was reviewed. The City of Waterloo would guarantee the loan for MET Transit in lieu of federal payments. If MET Transit would default on said loan payment the City would then be obligated to transmit to the National Bank subsidies previously approved and authorized to MET. It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that said line of credit from MET Transit be extended to May 1, 1992 . Motion carried.
