Members absent: Buck.
It was moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that the Agenda, as
proposed, be approved. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for a desk top computer and
printer for the Clerk/Auditor ' s Office:

Team $2 , 922 . 00
Iowa Business Machines $2, 519 . 00
It was the recommendation of the Computer Technical Review
Committee and the Clerk/Auditor ' s Office that the low bid of Iowa
Business Machines be approved and the purchase of the needed
token ring card from Team Connecting Point. The purchase of a
second computer at the stated rate for the Mayor ' s Office was
discussed. Each vendor will be contacted for a price for this
terminal. It was moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that said
recommendations be approved. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for an aerial lift truck/
platform to be mounted on an existing Traffic Operations truck:

The low bid of Teco Inc. does not meet weight specifications and
would not handle the weight of traffic signal mast arms;
therefore, the Superintendent of Central Garage recommended that
the bid of Hi-Ranger Midwest (which meets weight requirements) be
approved. It was moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that said
recommendation be approved. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for the purchase of two-way
mobile radio units for the Engineering Department:

It was the recommendation of the City Engineer that the low bid
of Radio Communications Co. be approved. It was moved by Wright,
seconded by Angel that said recommendation be approved. Motion
carried.
