Moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that the agenda, as proposed, be approved. Motion carried. The following bids were reviewed for computer related hardware for use by the Clerk' s office, Personnel Department and Sign & Traffic Department: Token Fixed Disk Company Ring Cards Drive Total Warren Computer Center $4 , 522 $2, 400 $6, 922 Iowa Business Machines $4,774 No Bid Iowa Business Machines $4 , 205 $1,725 $5,930 Team Connecting Point $3, 300 $2,190 $5, 490 Computerland $3 , 808 $2, 602 $6,410 Blackhawk Computer $3 ,768 No Bid It was the recommendation of the Planning and Development Division that the bid be split and the low bid from Iowa Business Machines for the fixed disk drive in the amount of $1 ,725 and the low bid of Team Connecting Point for the token ring cards in the amount of $3, 300 be accepted. In addition, the request of the Clerk/Auditor' s office for authorization to purchase a token ring card to allow for an additional workstation at a cost of $450 or $480 (depending on the type of computer) be approved. Moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that said recommendation to purchase said computer related hardware be approved. Motion carried. Moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that a garbage refund for 620 Wyoming Street in the amount of $23 .70 be approved. Motion carried. The request of the Police Chief for authorization to enter into negotiations on a claim at a cost not to exceed $2, 000 (to be paid from the Law Enforcement Trust Fund) was reviewed. Moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that said request be approved. Motion carried. Moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that the bills payment as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-42, in the amount of $1, 366, 195. 01, dated December 2 , 1991, be referred to the City Council for approval.
