It was moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that the Agenda,
as proposed, be approved. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for a fire pumping engine
for the Fire Department:
I. Clarey's Safety Equipment Inc.
Net Bid Price with trade-ins $185,847.50
Alternate #1
5 lengths of 5" hose, 100 ft. lengths
1 length of 5" hose, 50 ft. length 3,100.00
Alternate #2
16 lengths of 2 1/2" hose 1,800.00
Alternate #4
4 hose adapters 500.00
TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE $191,247.50
II. Moorman Equipment Company
Net Bid Price with trade-ins $197,079.00
Alternate #1
5 lengths of 5" hose, 100 ft. lengths
1 length of 5" hose, 50 ft. length 4,143.03
Alternate #2
16 lengths of 2 1/2" hose 1,938.16
Alternate #4
4 hose adapters 497.42
TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE $220,857.61
The Fire Chief recommended that the low bid of Clarey' s
Safety Equipment with Alternates #1, #2 and #4 be accepted
in the amount of $191, 247 . 50 . The equipment will be paid
for with General Obligation Bonds and will be delivered
sometime after July 1 , 1992 . It was moved by Wright,
seconded by Angel that said recommendation be approved.
Motion carried.
The following quotes were reviewed for 10, 000 "Iowa Uniform
Citations and Complaint" forms:

G.A. Thompson Company $1 , 250 . 00
It was the recommendation of the Police Chief that the low
bid of G.A. Thompson Company in the amount of $1 , 250. 00 be
approved. It was moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that
said recommendation be approved. Motion carried.
