The low bid of Iowa Business Machines of Waterloo, Iowa, does not meet minimum specifications. It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that said recommendation be approved. Motion carried. The recommendation of approval of the Public Safety Committee to give authorization to the Police Department to purchase ten Glock semi-automatic pistols with accessories and ammunition in the amount of $4, 428 . 30 was reviewed. It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that said recommendation be approved. Motion carried. Not Available Lincoln' s Office Supply Bid another chair (non compliant) Matt Parrott & Sons $ 917 .77 In response to a question from Chairperson Angel, Chief Koehrsen explained that the chairs will be used in the Police Chief ' s Office and will replacement old furniture. Funds for this expenditure will be from the F.Y. 1992 budget. Larry P. Burger, Clerk/Auditor stated that Police Department expenditures and revenues will be closely monitored. It was moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that the low compliant bidder of Matt Parrott & Sons be approved. Ayes: Angel, Wright. Abstain: Buck. Motion carried.
