FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES °
December 10, 1990

Large Conference Room
Members present: Chairperson Angel, Wright.
Members absent: Buck.
It was moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that the Agenda,
as proposed, be approved. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed in conjunction with the
interior renovation of the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention
Center:
Bidder Package A Package B Package C Combined
Lockard Construction $92,350 No Bid $193,365
Peterman and Haes No Bid $75,374
Verbraken Painting $74,792 No Bid
It was the recommendation of the Clerk/Auditor that all bids
be rejected since the prices are over the cost estimate.
Mr. Burger indicated that new specifications would be drawn
and the project re-bid. It was moved by Wright, seconded by
Angel that said recommendation be approved and bids
rejected. Motion carried.
It was moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that a garbage
refund in the amount of $67.80 for 175 Martin Road be
approved. Motion carried.
It was moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that the bills
payment be approved as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-61,
in the amount of $1,576,511. 33, dated December 3 , 1990, and
Schedule A918, pp. 1-42, in the amount of $619,139.25, dated
December 10, 1990. Motion carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting
was adjourned at 6: 40 p.m.
