Members (resent: Wright and. Buck.
Members absent: Chairperson Angel.
It was moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that the agenda, as
proposed, be approved. Motion carried .
The following prices were reviewed for the purchase of
25, 000 gallons of SC-250 for making oil dirt for patching in
the Street Department:
Carter Waters - 10. 661 per gallon
Elf Asphalt - No quote
Koch Asphalt - 10. 665 per gallon
Bituminous - $0. 550 per gallon
It was the recommendation of the Street Superintendent that
the low lid of $0 . 550 per gallon from Bituminous Materials
be approved. It was moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that
said recommendation be approved. Motion carried.
The Engineering Services Agreement for professional land
survey services with Wayne Claassen Engineering & Surveying,
Inc. in conjunction with Broadway Street and Conger Street
Traffic - Safety Improvements, Contract No. 394, was
reviewed. This agreement will allow for the preparation of
legal descriptions and plats for the survey of four parcels
of land needed for the construction of said project. Prior
to commencement of appraisal preparation, property needed
for said improvements must be ascertained. It was moved by
Buck, seconded by Wright that said agreement be approved.
Motion carried.
It was mcved by Wright, seconded by Buck that the
Clerk/Auditor be given authorization to seek bids for an
auctioneEr for the 1990 City Auction. Motion carried.
It was moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that the
Clerk/Auditor be given authorization t.o take bids for
parking violation notices. Motion carried.
It was mcved by Wright, seconded by Buck that a garbage and
sewer refund in the amount of $67 . 90 for 1016 Mulberry
Street and a garbage refund in the amount of $20. 40 for 2728
Highview Avenue be approved. Motion carried.
It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that the bills
payment le approved as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1 -63 ,
in the amount of $1, 631,455. 64, and Schedule W900, pp. 1-11 ,
in the amount of $10, 433 . 76, dated Hay 7, 1990. Motion
carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting
was adjot rued.
