Members present: Angel, Wright and Buck.
Moved by Wright, seconded by Buck to approve the agenda as
proposed. Motion carried.
New Business
Recommendation of bids received for pickups for the Black
Hawk County Health Department. Larry Burger, City
Clerk/Auditor, stated that in the agreement for the Health
Department services for the current year the City had
committed to replacing two vehicles for the Black Hawk
County Health Department. The Health Department is
replacing one worn out pickup truck and one Chevette that
was totalled in an accident and has been settled by the
insurance company. The bids were as follows:

It was the recommendation of Mark Linda of the Black Hawk
County Health Department and Larry P. Burger, City
Clerk/Auditor, that the apparent low bid of Dick Witham
Crossroads Ford be approved and the purchase of two pickups
be authorized. Moved by Wright, seconded by Buck to approve
the recommendation to purchase two pickups for the Black
Hawk County Health Department from Dick Witham in the amount
of $11, 542 each. Motion carried.
Moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that a garbage refund in
the amount of $38. 60 for 2848 Lafayette Street be received,
placed on file and approved. Motion carried.
Moved by Angel, seconded by Buck to refer the bills to the
City Council. Motion carried.
With no further action the Finance Meeting was adjourned.
