Moved by Buck, seconded by Angel that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Motion carried. It was the recommendation of the Police Department that the low bid of Dick Witham Chevrolet be accepted for five marked vehicles/1989 Chevrolet Caprices in the amount of $64, 550. 00 minus trade-in of five vehicles totaling $9,400.00, for a total cost of $55,150 .00 . Moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that said recommendation be approved. Motion carried. It was the recommendation of the Superintendent of Central Garage that the bid of Crossroads Ford of four 1989 Escorts, including a $200 trade-in, for a bid price per car of $7 ,678 and the purchase of one 1989 Aero-Star Van in the amount of $12,721 be approved. Don Temeyer, Planning and Development Director, asked that since the bids were lower than expected that an additional inspector car be purchased, therefore allowing replacement of the entire fleet of Building Inspection vehicles. Moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that authorization be given to purchase five Building Inspection vehicles from Crossroads Ford and one Aero-Star Van from Crossroads Ford. Motion carried. The following bid was reviewed for the printing and binding of permanent records in Clerk/Auditor' s Office: Bidder Proposal A Bid (Existing Format) Matt Parrott & Sons Co. 500 resolution records $224.15 500 ordinance records $193 . 95 Proposal B New Format Matt Parrott & Sons Co. 500 Council proceedings $256. 80 500 ordinance records 500 resolution records $345. 00 Proposal C Matt Parrott & Sons Co. Binding of permanent records (existing format) $191.15 Binding of permanent records (new formant) $ 71. 35 It was the recommendation of the Clerk/Auditor to accept the bid of Matt Parrott & Sons, Inc. Moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that said recommendation be approved. Ayes: Angel, Wright. Abstain: Buck. Motion carried. The following bids were reviewed for 5,000 violation tickets for the Motor Vehicle Parking Facilities: Bidder Total Bid Biller Press & Mfg. Inc. $2, 487 . 50 Globe Ticket & Label Co. No Bid Toledo Ticket Co. $3,330.00 It was the recommendation of the Superintendent of Motor Vehicle Parking to accept the low bid of Biller Press & Mfg. Inc. in the amount of $2,487 . 50. Moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that said recommendation be approved. Motion carried. Moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that the garbage refund for 402 Reber Avenue in the amount of $75. 60 and the garbage refund for 1022 West Fifth Street in the amount of $75. 60 be approved. Motion carried. Moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that bills payment be approved as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-38, totaling $624,684.65 and Schedule W900, pp. 1-5, totaling $49,732 . 85, dated December 5, 1988, and Schedule A918, pp. 1-64, totaling $1,420,375.59, and Schedule W900, pp. 1-3, totaling $4,774.88 , dated December 12, 1988.
