Moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that the Agenda, as amended to include a new business item entitled "Authorization to Purchase Chairs for Large Conference Room" , be approved. Motion carried. The following bids were reviewed for the F.Y. 1989 Conway Plaza Second Floor Walkway Enclosure: Bidder Bid Amount Daniels Home Improvement $4,700 Lockard Construction, Co. $4, 579 Prairie Construction, Co. $3 ,849 It was the recommendation of the City Engineer that the bid of Prairie Construction, Co. in the amount of $3,849 be approved. Moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that said recommendation be approved. Motion carried. The following bid was reviewed for the roofing repair project on the former East Side Library: Bidder Bid Amount Restoration Services, Inc. $6, 540. 00 ( re-roof pitched roof) $1,570 . 00 ( re-roof flat roof ) $ 2 .75 sq. ft. (unit price bid for sheathing replacement) It was the recommendation of the Planning and Development Director that said bid be approved. Moved by Wright, seconded by Buck that said recommendation be approved. Motion carried. The following bids were reviewed for the purchase of 12 sidearm chairs to replace existing chairs in the large conference room on the second floor of City Hall: Bidder Per Chair 12 Chairs Lincoln' s Office Supply $68. 90 $826. 80 Matt Parrott & Sons $75. 40 $904 . 80 Roberts Business Essential $68 . 60 $823 . 20 It was the recommendation of the Budget Analyst that the low bid of Roberts Business Essential be approved. Moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that said recommendation be approved. Motion carried. Moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that bills payment be approved as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-41, totaling $457 , 100 . 20 and Schedule 900, pp. 1-3, totaling $2, 897 . 19, dated November 28, 1988 .
