FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES
September 12, 1988

Members present: Chairperson Angel, Wright and Buck.
Moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that the agenda, as amended, be
approved. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for the purchase of three
tri-plex mowers for the Park Department:
Bidder Total Bid
Tri-State Turf $21 ,200 . 00
Big Bear Turf $24,518. 90
Grass Roots Turf Bid did not meet specs.
It was the recommendation of the Park Board to accept the bid of
Tri-State Turf in the amount of $21,200. Moved by Wright,
seconded by Buck that said recommendation be approved. Motion
carried.
Authorization to seek bids for plumbing at the East Park Avenue
ramp to install a restroom for City personnel staff was reviewed.
Money is available within the budget of Motor Vehicle Parking.
Moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that authorization be given to
proceed with seeking bids as requested. Motion carried.
Moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that the bills payment be
approved as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-66, totaling
$2,496,423 . 80 and Schedule W900, pp. 1-2, totaling
$108 , 824. 00, dated September 12, 1988. Motion carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was
adjourned.
