Members present: Chairperson Angel, Wright.
Members absent: Buck
Moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that the Agenda, as proposed,
be approved. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for photographic supplies for
the Police Department:
Bidder Total Bid
Lattin Photography, Inc. $5, 382. 87
Walden Photo, Inc. $6,056. 04
It was the recommendation of the Police Department to accept the
low bid of Lattin Photography, Inc. in the amount indicated
above. Moved by Wright, seconded by Angel that said
recommendation be approved. Motion carried.
Sale of a used Model 212 Caterpillar Motor Grader to Milt Hambly
in the amount of $1 , 200 was reviewed. It was explained that this
piece of equipment was offered for sale in a recently conducted
equipment sale of the Public Works - Street Department, but no
bids were received. Since that time, Mr. Hambly has indicated an
interest in purchasing said equipment. It was the recommendation
of the Public Works Director that the City offer for sale said
equipment to Mr. Hambly for $1,200. Moved by Wright, seconded by
Angel that said equipment be sold to Mr. Hambly for $1,200.
Motion carried.
Moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that the bills payment be
approved as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-58, totalling
$872, 058. 24 and Schedule W900, pp. 1-3 , totalling $8,347. 01,
dated July 25, 1988. Motion carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was
adjourned.
