Members present: Chairperson Angel, Wright, Buck.
It was moved by Buck, seconded by Angel that the Agenda, as
proposed, be approved. Motion carried.
The request of the City Planner for authorization to accept the
bid of Waverly Publishing Company in the amount of $2,563 for
five hundred copies and an additional $36 per one hundred
additional copies of the City' s Land Use Map was reviewed. Bids
were sent to five companies, but none other than Waverly
Publishing Company meeting the specifications. it was moved by
Buck, seconded by Angel that authorization be given for said
purchase from Waverly Publishing Company. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for an 8-drawer ( 4" x 6" ) card
file cabinet, Steelmaster brand:

Roberts Business Essentials $519. 00
Matt Parrott & Sons Co. $485. 24
It was the recommendation of the Police Department to accept the
low bid of Matt Parrott & Son Co. It was moved by Wright,
seconded by Angel that authorization be given to purchase said
file cabinet. Ayes: Two. Abstain: Buck. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for carpeting for the Water
Pollution Control Administration Building:

It was the recommendation of the Superintendent of the Water
Pollution Control to accept the low bid of Hanisch Floor
Covering. It was moved by Buck, seconded by Angel that said
recommendation be approved. Motion carried.
It was moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that bills payment be
approved as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-59, totalling
$608,750. 38 and Schedule W900, pp. 1-8, totalling $237. 99, dated
February 22, 1988. Ayes: Two. Abstain: Buck. Motion carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was
adjourned.
