Members present: Chairperson Angel, Wright, Buck.
It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that the Agenda, as
proposed, be approved. Motion carried.
The request of the Police Chief to dispose of a 1985 Ford LTD,
4-door, police car valued at $1,200 was reviewed. Chief Shook
explained that this vehicle was involved in an accident.
Estimated repair cost of the vehicle exceeds the value;
therefore, authorization is being sought for the sale of this
City vehicle to the highest bidder. It was moved by Buck,
seconded by Wright that authorization be given to the Police
Department to seek bids for the sale of this vehicle. Motion
carried.
It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that a garbage refund in
the amount of $17. 40 for 518 Conger Street and in the amount of
$13 . 20 for 208 State Street be approved. Motion carried.
It was moved by Angel, seconded by Wright that bills payment be
approved as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-38, totalling
$173 ,664. 62 and Schedule W900, pp. 1-3 , totalling $1,227. 86,
dated February 15, 1988. Ayes: Two. Abstain: Buck. Motion
carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was
adjourned.
