Finance Committee Minutes
January 4, 1988

Members present: Wright, Buck
Members absent: Chairperson Angel
Councilperson Wright called the meeting to order.
It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that the Agenda, as
amended to delete Item No. 2 be approved. Motion carried.
It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that authorization be
given to the Superintendent of the Central Garage to purchase a
1977 Datsun truck in the amount of $895 for use by the Water
Pollution Control Plant. Motion carried.
The request of the property owner at 4025 Scenic Drive for
cancellation of a sewage and garbage assessment accumulated by a
previous owner was reviewed. It was moved by Buck, seconded by
Wright that said request be denied, and that the Clerk/Auditor be
instructed to notify the property owner of same. Motion carried.
It was moved by Buck, seconded by Wright that bills payment be
approved as contained in Schedule A918 , pp. 1-29, totalling
$72,096. 02, dated January 4 , 1988. Motion carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was
adjourned.
