The Finance Committee of the City of Waterloo, Iowa met in the Mayor's Conference Room in
City Hall at 6:30 P.M. on October 19, 1981.
Council Member Dowie presiding officer.
On Roll Call: Dowie, Wilharm, Bowers, Roehr
It was moved by Wilharm, seconded by Roehr to delay the awarding of the bids for body
armor from the Police Department for one week. Motion carried.
The following bid was opened for camera equipment for the Police Department:
BIDDER AMOUNT
Lippert Camera Co. $817.82
Moved by Roehr, seconded by Wilharm to refer the above bid to the Police Department for
examination and a recommendation back. Motion carried.
The following bids were opened for the repair of Fire Station #1:

Wendell Lodkard Construction Co. $9,962.00
Jens Oleson 6,397.00
Moved by Wilharm, seconded by Roehr to refer the bids to the Building Committee and Fire
Department for review and recommendation. Motion carried.
It was moved by Bowers, seconded by Roehr to approve payment of the following bills:
DEPT. P.O. VENDOR AMT.
Fire 7378 Smeal Fire Equip. Co. $850.00
Police 7391 S.S. Coe Company 317.42
Water Pollution Control 7311 American Scientific 596.00
" 7429 Westinghouse 692.00
The motion carried.
