The Finance Committee of the City of Waterloo, Iowa met in the Mayor's Conference
Room in City Hall at 6:30 P.M. on May 26, 1981.
Council Member Dowie presiding officer.
On Roll Call : Dowie, Wilharm, Bowers, Roehr
Don Thorson, Street Superintendent, recommended that the low bid of Herman M. Brown
Co. in the amount of $107,546.00 be accepted for the motor grader (see minutes of
May 11 , 1981). It was moved by Wilharm, seconded by Roehr to approve this
recommendation. The motion carried.
Larry Cunningham, Garage Superintendent, was authorized to take bids on two (2) dump
trucks for the Street Department. Bids will be solicited and referred to the
Finance Committee for action.
It was moved by Roehr, seconded by Bowers to approve payment of the following bills:
