The Finance Committee of the City of Waterloo, Iowa met in the Mayor's Conference Room in
City Hall at 6:30 P.M. on January 19, 1981 .
Council Member Dowie presiding.
On Roll Call : Roehr, Wilharm, Bowers, Dowie
Bids were opened for three (3) floor mats for City Hall . The following bids were received:
BIDDER AMOUNT
Waterloo Paper Co. $195.00
A-1 Janitor Service & Supplies, Inc. 279.00
It was moved by Bowers, seconded by Roehr that the above bids be referred to Mr. Parsons
for his review and recommendation. The motion carried.
Bids were opened for one (1) vehicle for the Building Inspection Department. The following
bids were received:

George Morris Chevrolet $4,655.00
Hanawalt Ford 5,042.15
It was moved by Wilharm, seconded by Bowers to refer the above bids to Mr. Parsons for his
review and recommendation. The motion carried.
It was moved by Roehr, seconded by Wilharm to approve payment of the following bills:

The motion carried.
The bill submitted by the Finance Department in the amount of $21 ,002.18 from the State
Auditor was tabled until more information can be obtained.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned at 6:45 P.M.
