The Finance Committee of Waterloo, Iowa, met in the Mayor' s Conference Room
in the City Hall at 6 : 33 P.M. on January 15, 1979 .
Councilman Getty presiding .
On roll call: Present: Getty, Dowie, Wilharm. Absent: Roehr.
Chairman Getty called for the bills .
Chairman Getty requested that the records show that the Cedar Valley Council
on Aging were asking for $9, 000 for management df parking lot.
Mayor Rooff reported the City was getting an estimate for cast iron pipe for
the water main in front of City Hall, to be included in F .Y. 1980 budget.
Discussed was if break in street, whose responsibility and Mayor Rooff reported
the Water Works shuts off the water and property owner repairs from main to
property line .
Moved by Councilman Getty, seconded by Councilman Dowie that the Finance
Committee meeting was now closed.
