Motion carried. Moved by Blitsch, seconded by Luce to approve the 5/16/06 Minutes as mailed. Motion carried. ITNFINISHED RIJSINESS ITpdateR Golf Manager—seven candidates invited to interview on 6/16/06. Battalion Chief—decision made to hold off until early fall. Police Sergeant — written examination scheduled for 6/15/06 with interviews tentatively scheduled for mid-July. Clerk I—fifty-seven candidates invited to take a written examination on 6/6/06; top thirty scores who must pass each section of the examination with at least a 70% will be interviewed. Park Maintenance II/Forestry—deadline for resumes is 6/9/06; eight resumes received to date. NEW BITSINESS The job description and testing criteria for Associate Planner-Community Planning & Development was presented for approval. There is a vacancy due to a resignation. On 5/22/06, the Human Resources Committee approved beginning the Civil Service process. There are no changes in the job description and testing criteria. Moved by Blitsch, seconded by Porter to approve the job description and testing criteria for Associate Planner-Community Planning & Development. Motion carried. The job description and testing criteria for Medical Officer-Fire Rescue was presented for approval. There isn't a present vacancy, but we need a new list and the Fire Chief wants to get this one out of the way since we have several others we need to be developing soon. There are no changes in the job description and testing criteria. Moved by Luce, seconded by Blitsch to approve the job description and testing criteria for Medical Officer-Fire Rescue.
