RESOLUTION NO. 2022-489
RESOLUTION APPROVING A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH
THE OTTO SCHOITZ FOUNDATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $1
MILLION, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE TRANSFORMING
GATES AND BYRNES PARKS PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE LEISURE SERVICES DIRECTOR TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the grant agreement dated August 1, 2022, in the amount of $1,000,000.00, between the
Otto Schoitz Foundation and the City of Waterloo, for the Transforming Gates and Byrnes Parks
Project, is hereby approved, and the Leisure Services Director is authorized and directed to
execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of August 2022.
