RESOLUTION NO. 2022-498
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY FAILOR-HURLEY
CONSTRUCTION OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE TRAFFIC CONTROL ROOM
REMODELING, IOWA DOT PROJECT NO. STP-U-8155(755)--
70-07, IN THE AMOUNT OF $55,331.00, AND RELEASE OF
RETAINAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,766.55.
WHEREAS, Failor-Hurley Construction of Waterloo, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the traffic Control Room Remodeling, Iowa DOT Project No. STP-U-
8155(755)--70-07, and
WHEREAS, the Failor-Hurley Construction has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved on
December 6, 2021, Resolution No. 2021-772.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by the Failor-Hurley Construction, in the amount of $55,331.00, and
release of retainage in the amount of $2,766.55, in conjunction with the traffic Control Room
Remodeling, Iowa DOT Project No. STP-U-8155(755)--70-07, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of August 2022.
