OTHER BUSINESS
Jim Rodemeyer reported on the retitling of the position of
Civilian Jailer to Police Property/Evidence Technician. The
position of Civilian Jailer is covered by the Teamsters contract
and a collateral duty of the Civilian Jailer has been to work in
the evidence/property room. With the recent closing of the City
jail, the decision has been made to retitle the job in line with
the job duties. A new job description is being developed.
The next meeting of the Civil Service Commission was tentatively
scheduled for August 14, 1990 at 4:00 p.m. With no further
business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:25 p.m.
