RESOLUTION GRANTING
ANDERSON OF THE NEW
CHURCH FOR VARIANCE
NOISE ORDINANCE.
REQUEST OF PASTOR MORRIS
HOPE MISSIONARY BAPTIST
TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094,
WHEREAS, Pastor Morris Anderson, of the New Hope Missionary
Baptist Church, is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance
on August 15, 2010, August 22, 2010, and August 29, 2010, from
10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in conjunction with the Annual Outdoor
Worship Services to be held in the church parking lot at the
corner of Broadway Street and Conger Street, including a live
band and PA system, with recommendation and approval of Chief of
Police, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Pastor Morris Anderson of the New Hope
Missionary Baptist Church has made formal application for a
variance effective August 15, 2010, August 22, 2010, and
August 29, 2010 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Pastor Morris Anderson of the
New Hope Missionary Baptist Church for a variance to Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on August 15, 2010, August 22, 2010,
and August 29, 2010 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in conjunction
with the Annual Outdoor Worship Services to be held in the church
parking lot at the corner of Broadway Street and Conger Street,
including a live band and PA system, be and the same hereby
granted.
