RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF BARBARA
JENKINS FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094,
NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Barbara Jenkins is requesting a variance to the
Noise Ordinance on August 14, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
in conjunction with Leo Git Down Affair to be held from the first
block of Dane Street to the corner of Iowa Street, including a DJ
with PA system, with recommendation and approval of Chief of
Police, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Barbara Jenkins has made formal application
for a variance effective August 14, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00
p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Barbara Jenkins for a
variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, in conjunction
with Leo Git Down Affair on August 14, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to
3:00 p.m., to be held from the first block of Dane Street to the
corner of Iowa Street, including a DJ with PA system, be and the
same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of August, 2010.
