RESOLUTION APPROVING CITY/STATE
FUNDING AGREEMENT FOR FEDERAL -AID FUNDING, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $1,000,000.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE FY 2023 HAMMOND AVENUE BRIDGE
REPLACEMENT OVER SINK CREEK, CONTRACT NO. 922,
AS PART OF THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION'S
CITY HIGHWAY BRIDGE PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that the City/State Funding Agreement between the Iowa Department of Transportation and the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $1,000,000.00, in conjunction with the FY 2023
Hammond Avenue Bridge Replacement Over Sink Creek, Contract No. 922, as part of the Bridge
Formula Program and the Surface Transportation Block Grant Program to make Federal funds
available for replacement or rehabilitation of highway bridges on public roads on and of the
Federal -Aid system, is hereby approved and the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute the
same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of August 2022.
